About us
The San Diego City Guard Band is an all-volunteer community band based in San Diego’s historic Balboa Park. The band has a regular season of performances throughout the year in the spring, summer, and December holidays. In addition, we perform at other special events throughout the year. The City Guard Band’s repertoire includes a wide range of range of music: historical works, show tunes, movie scores, marches, and concert pieces for symphonic band. We also feature small ensembles and vocal performers at many events.
